MAP01: Horror at Dusk is the first map of Legacy of Heroes. It was designed by gaspe and uses the music track "Searching," originally composed by Rich Nagel for Eternal Doom.

- Take the left of the two doors on the west side of the main area and use the panel to the southwest to get a blur artifact. (sector 176)
- On the right side of the map are three pipes. Use the middle one to open a nearby corridor containing health and armor bonuses. (sector 277)
