MAP01: Scary is the first map of The Darkening. It was designed by Jan Van der Veken and uses the music track "Inner Turmoil" by David Shaw (Tolwyn) from MAP03: Downtown (STRAIN).

Secrets[edit]

  1. Use the pentagram switch to the east at the start to lower a wall nearby containing a chainsaw. (sector 66)
  2. On the ledge with imps and shotgun shells, carefully walk along the wall leading southeast until you go through the fake wall where you will find a soul sphere. (sector 61)
