MAP01: Severed Dreams is the first map of 1000 Lines 2 - Community Project. It was designed by Philip Brown (Liberation) and uses the music track "Tomb of the Unknown King" by Brayden Hart (AD_79).

Walkthrough[edit]

Essentials[edit]

As the level starts you will see a nukage pool in front of you containing an armor, guarded by a few imps. Walk round to the south side of the ledge surrounding the pool to find a lever and pull it to open the door on the north side, then go through to an octagonal junction with a few more imps. Go through either of the west doorways to a room with another large nukage pool then head across the nearby bridge to a door, collecting a shotgun on the way. Open the door and follow the hallway north, killing some zombiemen and a pair of demons that block your path, until you reach a ledge where two imps and a revenant are guarding another lever. After pulling it, head south-east across another bridge that has risen; you will see that a barrier has opened ahead, letting you climb up some steps to the red keycard.

Drop down to the octagonal junction and open the east door (requiring the red key) to get outside - you will see two doors open ahead revealing some imps and a Hell knight. Go through either of these doors and follow the passage round until you encounter two more demons (plus another knight on Ultra-Violence (UV) and Nightmare (NM) skill levels) then head through the east doorway to a storage room with imps. Pull the lever in the south-east corner to open a door to the north, then head through to find a chaingun being protected by some zombiemen. Head south between some nukage pools to a lever being guarded by some imps (plus two knights on UV and NM), pull the lever to release some demons and revenants behind you then go up the steps on the north side of the room to another lever. After pulling this lever, run south-west to get on a lift before it rises and takes you up to the blue keycard.

With the blue key, enter the green teleporter next to it to return to an earlier part of the map. Open the blue key door on your left and kill a demon waiting behind it, then pull the lever in front of you to finish the level.
