MAP01: Surface is the first map of Mutiny. It was designed by Fonze, James Paddock (Jimmy) and Jon Vail (40oz), and uses an untitled music track by Jason Dagenet.

- Press on the computer panel south of where the blue key is located to find a chaingun. (sector 45)
- On the central lift, ride down and notice the indentation on the right side. Go there and press on the wall to get a soul sphere. (sector 210)
