Trivia[edit]
- At some point in time, this map had its name changed to Outpost Alpha. It was later renamed back to The Metacenter in an update on 24th November 2018.
- This map initially had an ambush inside the caged area with the berserk pack, which trapped the player inside and spawned eight demons inside with them (two waves of four demons each), practically forcing the player to use the berserk they had just picked up. This ambush was removed in an update on 10th April 2018, likely for the purposes of balance and limiting player frustration.
- This same update also reduced the number of shotgun guys in the starting from from four to two, likely for the same reasons the aforementioned demon ambush was removed.
- The original build of this map had one official secret. It was removed in an unknown update.
