MAP01: Werewolf Moon is the first map of Hell Ground. It was designed by Alexander S. (Eternal) and uses the music track "Hollow Hideaway" from American McGee's Alice.

Other points of interest[edit]


  1. Head to the right side of the bridge leading to the fortress ahead, then head north from the steps to the edge of the cliff and fall down to get a green armor. (sector 112)
  2. Head to the northwest hallway inside and a compartment to the south will open with imps, a stimpack, and shotgun shells. Use the satyr switch at the west end of the compartment, which will open a wall to the east. Follow the path and you will eventually reach the super shotgun. (sector 576)
  3. After you get the blue key, backtrack to the four-way intersection where a chaingunner will ambush you from a newly-opened alcove. Inside here, lower the back wall to find health bonuses, a backpack, a rocket, and shotgun shells. (sector 911)
  4. Run from the steps to the exit portal to either of the fences overlooking the water. If you do this right, you should be in the water. Go southwest to reach a soul sphere. (sector 1059)
