MAP02: Dark Base is the second map of The Mapwich 2: The Mapwichening. It was designed by DFF and The Individualist, and uses the music track "". The par time defined in ZMAPINFO is 5:00.

Secrets[edit]
- In the building south of the main base, you can get a plasma gun, energy cell packs, and a soul sphere from the south end. Warning: when the level starts, don't shoot until you get this secret. If you do, the closet containing the secret will close and you will be unable to open it again. (sector 1335)
- Outside the base at the northwest end, climb the rocks with armor bonuses up to a rock with lots of armor bonuses and a berserk pack. (sector 298)
- After opening the area west of the start, go there, flip the switch, then take the lift behind the red door back up. Head back to where the switch was and jump west to the scrap drum and scrap gun. (sector 155)
- On the west side of the main base, take the lift up, then get on the ledge to the south and head southeast. Jump across to the east to the other side to get a box of ammo, a green armor, stimpacks, and shotgun shells. (sector 421)
- Jump northeast from Secret #4 to the bloody path to find a super shotgun, a scrap drum, and a box of rockets. (sector 303)
- Open the east wall in Secret #5 to find a switch, letting you head south to another switch. This lets you access the southeast part of the map. (sector 304)
- When you teleport to the west side of the map, head northwest first, raise the northeast wall, and shoot the switch. Quickly go around and to the next big hall, open the north door, and run south to the rockets and rocket launcher. (sector 1155)
- At the west side of the map, head for the northeast wall and open it for lots of pickups. (sector 367)
