MAP02: Sand-Storm is the second map of Epic. It was designed by Alexander S. (Eternal) and uses the music track "Ah, Geez!," originally composed by Lee Jackson for Duke Nukem 3D.

Other points of interest[edit]


  1. From the fortress at the start, head for the southwest tower, and press on its northern side to find a switch. Use this one, then climb the steps back up to the temple in the center, then go around to the northeast corner. You can run out there to reach the towers. (sector 25)
  2. Head through the walls southwest of the oasis and climb the tower until you see a red torch. You can barely see a button behind this torch. Shoot it to get a soul sphere behind you. (sector 265)
  3. In the same tower as above, jump to the wall to the east, and follow it around to the west end of the tower. From there, head west and jump down to an ammo depot. (sector 273)
  4. When you reach the waterway, go south and then onto the rocks where the switch and lift are. The switch lowers the lift, and another switch will raise this lift up. This allows you to head back outside to get a soul sphere. (sector 406)
