MAP02: Training Grounds is the second map of BOOMER: Beyond Vanilla. It was designed by Fernito and uses the music track "Fernando's Dream" by Lee Jackson. The par time defined in the DEHACKED lump is 15:00.

Secrets[edit]
- Take the lift west of the start and head north. Look for a green button on the nearby support to open the teleporter to the west. This takes you to a platform where you can jump south to a megaarmor. (sector 44)
- Take the lift east of the start down and head to the steps to the east. Head west to a lift that lowers and ride up to where you see several pillars to the north, one of which has a soul sphere. To get it, get on the ledge next to your lift, head north, then look west. Shoot the green button, then press the switch to the north to lower a soul sphere. (sector 800)
- Head north from the red key area to the room with the green armor, then drop north outside. Head east and climb the hexagonal steps up. Maneuver west, north, and across to get a computer area map. (sector 1098)
- At the east side of the map, head to the water area to the southwest and head southeast to get a chainsaw. (sector 2507)
- On the dirt path of health bonuses at the west end, near the south end, go east into a dark area to get a megaarmor. (sector 3362)
