MAP02 is the second map of ESW2. It was designed by David Jander.

Secrets[edit]
- Walking over each side of the square at the bottom of the pit in the initial room opens up four doors in the room. Go through the west one. There is a secret door in the south wall of this alcove leading to a narrow corridor. (sector 30)
- The secret corridor accessed by #1 has four alcoves, each containing a lost soul. Shooting the back wall of the fourth one opens up a door providing a small shortcut between parts of the corridor. (sector 41)
- At the end of the corridor accessed by #1 is a room with several steps. At the bottom of the steps is a switch which lowers a platform with a soul sphere. This allows access to a room with some monsters and 8 shotgun shells. (sector 51)
- The room just before the blue door has a secret door to the east (marked with a different texture) leading via a corridor to a room with five imps (three on easy skill), and a cacodemon (hard skill only). (sector 74)
- The corridor leading to #4 has a secret lift to the east (marked with a different texture) which lowers on pressing. (sector 62)
- Press the back wall of #5 to lower yourself down to a short corridor. Turn right to reach a room with an exploding barrel and an armor bonus. This room has a secret door on its north wall leading to a health bonus and a megaarmor. (sector 93)
- Turning left at the bottom of #5 leads to an area with some monsters, exploding barrels, and a stimpack. The monsters can be killed from the blue key area. (sector 67)
- In the north of the level is a room with several wooden gates that can be walked through. Go through the door at the north of this room and turn right twice. The wall ahead of you is a lift that lowers on pressing, taking you up to 4 shotgun shells, two shotgun guys (one on easy skill), 0-2 imps, and a switch. The switch lowers a megasphere visible in the nearby outdoor area. (sector 142)
- To reach the megasphere lowered in #8, head back down the lift then turn right. Press the wall near the gap in the top of the wall - it lowers, allowing access to the outdoor area with the megasphere and some ammo. Both the outdoor area and the megasphere platform count as separate secrets. (sector 144)
