MAP03: MAP19 - Main Sewers Hub is the third map of Switcheroom 2. It was designed by Walter Confalonieri (daimon) and Micah Petersen (Jaws in Space), and uses the music track "Watching You" by James Paddock (Jimmy). It is based on the layout of MAP19: The Citadel.

Walkthrough[edit]

Essentials[edit]

Kill the zombiemen in front of you, then open the northern door and go across a bridge to reach the door to the main building. Go inside and climb up the steps, dispose of a couple of lost souls then go through the eastern door to find a couple of imps guarding a chaingun. Open the southern door, noting the chaingunner that is released near it, then look east to see a pool of harmful sludge and kill all the imps waiting here. Climb to the ledge in the south-west corner of the pool and press the button here to open the nearby door, then run across the platforms to reach that door and collect the super shotgun here before going through.

Climb the steps to another door and go through it, dispose of any waiting monsters then flip the switch on the west wall to lower a lift that goes down to the blue keycard. Step back onto the lift and ride it up again, then go west into a room with a V-shaped staircase and step on the northern lift to go down to another door. Open the door and kill any spectres waiting behind it, then head north to a hexagonal corridor and open the blue bars inside it to reach the exit door. Open the door and flip the switch to end the level.

Other points of interest[edit]

In the north-west corner of the map is a room with five teleporters. The corner teleporters go to the corresponding corners of the main building, while the center teleporter goes to the block in the central courtyard where you can collect a rocket launcher. The north-east teleporter goes to a ledge with a plasma gun and provides an alternate route to the blue key.

Secrets[edit]

  1. Enter the main building and enter the west room with a switch in the middle. Open the west wall to access the compartment with shotgun guys and chaingunners. (sector 96)
  2. Open the north door in the west room and head north in the hall. Before the turn, use the gray wall between the metal ridges to find an armor. (sector 143)
  3. In secret #2, lower the west wall and ride up to get a plasma gun. (sector 145)
