Essentials[edit]

Walk forward to collect a shotgun and use it to kill the enemies in your vicinity (which start facing away from you), then enter the south-west tunnel and follow it until you see a couple of imps on a ledge. Drop down the hole on your right to land in a room with a nukage pool surrounded by a walkway, then turn right to follow the walkway round to a box of bullets (and a chaingun on I'm Too Young To Die and Hey Not Too Rough skill levels) - from here you can step over the nukage to reach the blue keycard in the middle of the room. Stepping on the key platform will open two monster closets in the south wall containing imps, as well as allowing one or two spectres to teleport in.

Leave the room through the west doorway then push past one or two revenants to a door which leads to an octagonal chamber - you will see the red keycard on a ledge at the north side of this chamber, surrounded by a nukage pit. Go to the north-west corner and open the door here, step through then turn right to see a chaingun ahead being overlooked by a mancubus. Just behind the mancubus is a blue door - open it and kill the revenant standing on the pillar ahead, then go through the north-west doorway before turning left and left again to see a red lever ahead. Pulling the lever will open a wall ahead blocking your way to the red key, but it will also open a closet behind you with various enemies, as well as releasing an arch-vile into the previous room. Go back to the room where you found the chaingun and mancubus, then walk due south to collect the red key.

Go back to the starting area and follow the south-west tunnel again until you reach the hole that led down to the blue key; this time, open the red door to the east and walk forward to collect a super shotgun before continuing on to a shutter door. Interacting with this door will lower it and reveal two Hell knights guarding the yellow keycard; you will also need to contend with imps and revenants that teleport behind you, along with a few demons on HMP or higher. Return to the red key room and head through the north-west door again before proceeding north to a yellow door. Arm yourself before opening this door as there are two revenants waiting behind it (plus another arch-vile on HMP or higher), and some more revenants will teleport behind you. Go through the yellow door and press the green skull button ahead to finish the level.

Other points of interest[edit]

Drop into the nukage around the red key then lower the west lift, which will reveal demons guarding a chainsaw. From here you can lower another lift to the north to reach a computer area map.

Secrets[edit]

  1. At the blue key, use the south-east column to lower the north-west column, which has a teleporter. Take it to get a supercharge. (sector 91)
  2. Enter the nukage between the blue key doors and head south. Find a dark passage near the drop-off point and enter it to get a megaarmor. (sector 39)
