Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Essentials[edit]

Grab the shotgun in the starting corridor and use it to kill the lone chaingunner in order to also obtain his weapon. The next room has several windows and a door leading to a larger outside area. You can use a switch to open the door (and another one to close it) to go outside, but you may want to shoot several of the imps roaming outside through the windows instead. The outside area is a bit dark and has several trees scattered about, and more imps may be hidden behind them so keep your guard up.

Make your way to the canyon and kill all the enemies that pop up, then drop down the waterfall where you will see a large building to your right, as well as a small opening to the left: go to the left first as the flooded staircase leads to a small terrace containing the red key. Picking it up will spring a trap containing enemies (and some supplies), but with the key now in your possession you can make it to the large building below and enter it through a lift. Upon going up you will find yourself in a circular room with two switches on each side, both of them requiring the red key. Press them both to unlock the exit door, but be ready to fight as doing this also triggers a monster teleport ambush in the room.

Other points of interest[edit]

Secrets[edit]

  1. Make your way outside and go to the northeast corner behind the trees for a backpack. (sector 21)
  2. When you reach the second waterway, go into the waterfall to get a megaarmor. (sector 64)
