MAP03: Simply Dead... is the third map of The Troopers' Playground. It was designed by Matthias Worch.

Other points of interest[edit]


  1. Inside the brick room just before the crusher room, go through the wall to the right that has a hanging corpse on it to get partial invisibility and two medikits. (sector 66)
  2. In the first big room, open the wall at the bottom of the steps to find a passage leading to some spectres. (sector 170)
  3. In the northwesternmost room, press on the southwest wall to find a switch, which will open the west wall, revealing shotgun ammo and a few monsters. The switch in this secret raises a bridge to the center, where you can get a megaarmor. (sector 201)
  4. In the courtyard with the barons of Hell, use the skull switch to lower the lift, then ride it up. Go towards the next door to hear a lift lower. Go back to the previous lift and enter the teleporter to appear in the cages where the chaingunners were. (sector 228)
  5. At the end of the passage in Secret #2 is a room with some steps leading up to a door. Ignore the door and look west, then open the wall here. The stairs will rise up, leading to a soul sphere. (sector 296)
