Essentials[edit]

Clear the drop point of bogeys so no straggling Patriots will sneak up on you later. The next room has two doors: dead ahead and to your right. The room straight ahead contains more Patriots and Stormtroopers, and a Toshiba turret ambush from the ceiling when you cross the room. On the far end is an elevator and another door to the right.

The elevator leads to a bridge crossing a humongous shaft lined with human bodies in stasis -- cyborgs in the making. They are guarded by flying Zero Guards. Across the bridge you will find the blue keycard.

The two doors you passed on the way to the elevator both lead to a snaking hallway with more Toshiba Turrets and Cyborg Enforcers (the first door leads through a room with some goodies). It leads to a large office accessed by the blue and/or red keycards, and a laboratory full of guards. The lab features a door to the facility's nuclear reactor: entering this area without a radiation suit is harmful.

In the reactor, head to the door on your left, killing as many enemies as quickly as you can. Throw the switch to open the reactor and grab the red keycard. Dead ahead from the reactor door is another room containing nuclear missiles; the tunnel from which the many Wraiths emerge has a berserk pack inside if you need a health boost. Watch out for the Cyborg Enforcer ambush when you return to the lab.

Go up into the office and you'll find a red door to another office and a teleporter. It's a good idea to save and resupply before going through: on the other side is a humongous cyber-lab with a squad of Cyborg Enforcers waiting for you. Kill them quickly and wait for the pillar to lower all the way, revealing a two-sided teleporter: one side is the way back, the other is the exit.

Other points of interest[edit]

Secrets[edit]

  1. In the turret ambush room near the drop point is a wall switch disguised as a brick, hidden behind a skull lamp. It lowers the mainframe in the center of the room, revealing a plasma repeater. (sector 16) In the same room, the wall next to the hidden switch opens when you have progressed far into the level: it hides a few turrets and an automap.
  2. The stairs to the blue keycard room opens one of the many cyborg containers in the massive shaft outside: run back out and shoot it to reveal a hidden seeker missile launcher. (sector 72)
  3. The snaking corridor ends at a stack of large crates. Push the left crates back to reveal a hidden loot cache (and a Goroze chaingunner). (sector 85)
  4. The hidden cache also contains a secret wall switch that opens the sealed pneumatic door halfway down the corridor. Behind it is a squad of Cyborg Enforcers and a soul sphere. (sector 95)
  5. Before going through the teleporter to the final arena, examine the gold eagle statue to open a hidden cache of health and cell ammo. (sector 183)
