MAP04: Industrial Zone is the fourth map of STRAIN. It was designed by Adam Windsor and uses a music track by Jon Landis originally written for Eye of the Beholder II.

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.


Other points of interest[edit]


  1. At the northeast end of the map where the green armor is, use the wall to the right of it to find a shotgun guy, an ammo clip, a stimpack, and two armor bonuses. (sector 169)
  2. At the western courtyard, head behind the brown building and use the wall with the crack to find a shotgun guy, an ammo clip, and health bonuses. (sector 171)
  3. Open the blue door and head up the steps, then use the wall north of the next door to find a computer area map. (sector 232)
  4. Open the door near secret #3 and look north to see a square wall. Lower it to find shotgun shells and a stimpack. (sector 235)
