Secrets[edit]
- At the start, open the grate instead of taking the stairs, then go across the platforms to the northeast corner. Use the gargoyle switch behind the grate to lower two walls to the south. The one with the chainsaw is the secret. (sector 77)
- West of the starting area, jump across the lava river and shoot at the beige wall to find a lift leading down to barrels, a box of ammo, and a green armor. (sector 236)
- Head to the southernmost lava area and to the two switch barriers. Look at them from an angle to the northeast and shoot the satyr switch behind the left barrier. Climb the nearby steps and head south, into the lava, and around into a cave with a teleporter, which takes you to a secret with a soul sphere behind you. (sector 417)
- In Secret #3, lower the south wall, then in this hall, lower the southeast corner wall. Lower the lift past that wall and enter the area south of it to find a super shotgun, a box of ammo, shotgun shells, and medikits. (sector 108)
- Use the same lift that allows you to go to Secret #4, then use the wall east of it (though you should wait slightly before lowering it). When you lower that wall, run back away from the first lift. When it rises, quickly lower it again then quickly on the second one, finding an open path south, which is this secret. (sector 113)
- Make sure that in the starting room, the left barrier is up, then head to Secret #5 and take the lift up. Run across and use the switch to raise the next barrier while lowering the one you went off of, then continue east and north all the way. When you reach the building, shoot the switch inside to enter and get a BFG9000. (sector 305)
Bugs[edit]
Two multiplayer-only armors (Things 356 and 357), both near the single-player ones, have no flags set for any of the three difficulty classes, so they do not actually appear in the level.
