MAP04: Petite Mort (English: Small death) is the fourth map of 3 heures d'agonie. It was designed by Christophe Calamoneri (Necrotikflesh) and uses the music track "Sinister," originally composed by Robert Prince for Doom.

Secrets[edit]

  1. Open the wall at the west end of the map to get a backpack. (sector 63)

Bugs[edit]

An arch-vile gets released into a room with an opening and closing door (sector 11), making it likely for this door to crush corpses and cause ghost monsters to be created.

The slim corridor with a pain elemental (thing 19) has its centre span exactly on a blockmap grid boundary, significantly boosting the effect of the blockmap bug if fighting in this area.

The west button has an invisible trigger line (linedef 230) that blocks use attempts placed in front of a button, requiring the player to get significantly closer to the button than is usually required for a successful button press.

Pressing the east button causes shotgun shells (thing 108) to snap up to the window above, making the shells unreachable from the floor.
