MAP04: The Chasm is the fourth map of Earth. It was designed by Roger Ritenour and uses a MIDI rendition of "Self Control" by Laura Branigan — sequenced by Anton Baranov (Quake/\/\an) — as its music track.

Secrets[edit]

  1. From the rocky ledge where the blue key is, you can jump to the rock below containing an armor bonus and a box of shotgun shells. (sector 153)
  2. Enter the cave at the start, and when you see two candles in the corner, lower the wall between them. Follow this passage to find arachnotrons guarding a rocket launcher and two medikits. (sector 159)
