MAP04: The Office is the fourth map of Into Sandy's Cities. It was designed by GermanPeter.

Walkthrough[edit]

Essentials[edit]

Leave the room that you start in, there is nothing here. Kill the zombiemen straight ahead, and the shotgun guys to your right. Watch out when you get into the main part of the room, as there is a shotgun guy in ambush mode directly to your left.

You can open a section of the wall to find some more shotgun guys and imps in a corridor, and ambush some enemies for later through a hatch that opens and closes. There is another section you can open to get the shotgun guys’ shotguns from earlier, in addition to a medikit and a box of bullets. At the end of the corridor is a room with crates, and a switch to the left. Pull the switch to lower some of the crates, but around the corner is a demon and some more imps. Kill them all, and then stand on the crates as they raise up to get some health and armor bonuses. Then, pull the switch and run around the corner to get a megaarmor.

At the end of the room, open the door and kill some shotgun guys, and go through the door straight ahead, not the one to your left. There is an inescapable pool of nukage and some imps here, so watch out. The next room has some more imps on a staircase, but go left and open the door there. Here you can ambush the demon that would have been through the door earlier from behind. The other door from this room leads to the starting area, so head back the way you came, and up the stairs.

Open the door, and kill the heavy weapon dude, imps, and zombiemen here, then pull the switch at the back of the room. Take the revealed lift, and then run out immediately, or you will be trapped in the corner by the demons in this room. The switch to the left hides the yellow keycard, and the one to the right activates a crusher in the middle of the room. Go back up. In this room, there is a "secret" door that is not obvious, but appears on the automap. Open it and run down to get to the starting area, open the yellow door, and exit the level.

Secrets[edit]

  1. In the first hall, open the east wall with silver ridges around it and head south to another wall with ridges. Open it to get a medikit and a box of ammo. (sector 3)
  2. Head east and north from Secret #1 and open the door to the northeast room. Press the switch here, run east over the lowered crate, then continue running north and then west at the first fork to get the megaarmor on another lowered crate. (sector 69)
  3. Enter the north room with the slime pit and open the north wall to find a berserk pack and a teleporter back to the start. (sector 109)
  4. In the west office, open the south wall with bullet holes for a passage with armor bonuses. (sector 98)
  5. In the northwest room, lower a wall to the west to get a super shotgun. This counts as two secret sectors. (sector 93)
