MAP05: Black Moon of the Forest is the fifth map of Khorus. It was designed by Shadowman and uses the music track "Vashe Blagorodie, Gospozha Udacha" from White Sun of the Desert.

Secrets[edit]
- In the starting area, there are two switches at the north end. Use the switch on the right, then quickly run all the way to the southwest corner to find shotgun shells, a green armor, and a medikit. (sector 196)
- Head south from the starting area until you see water to the west. Go there and into a small corner to teleport to a ledge with a rocket. (sector 108)
- Make your way to the northeast part of the canyon where a shotgun is. Head east, use the switch, then head west and south. Open the door, then use the torch near the bookshelf to lower the bookshelf, revealing a berserk pack. (sector 271)
- Get the yellow key and open the yellow door east of it. Head south to a dead end room with a banner. Use the banner, then head north from the door and enter a small room with a blur artifact. (sector 404)
- When you get to the teleporter that leads to the switch opening the bars to the eastern side of the map, enter it from the south side. You will teleport to a different teleporter where you can head north to a soul sphere. (sector 963)
- At the east side of the map, get to the crates inside the cave. Find the small crate at the north end and step on it. Quickly run west a bit, then south towards a lowered crate. Ride it up and collect the box of rockets. (sector 1118)
- At Secret #6, head to the east side of this stack of crates and press on the south crate, which has writing in blood. Ride this crate up, then jump to the north stack of crates to get an energy cell and a plasma gun. (sector 1108)
