MAP05: Black Water is the fifth map of Ascension. It was designed by BigMemka and uses the music track "".

Walkthrough

Map of Black Water

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Secrets

1. At the southeast beach, go to the gray rocks near the east end and head north following the rocks to a cave with crossbow explosive bolts and a very large bag of money. (sector 1059)
2. Open the door that requires the white mushroom and head south. Open the east wall and go up to get a studded leather armor. (sector 2573)
3. Head south from the MAP14 entrance, then in the room with two corpses, lower the shelf to the east to get four discs of repulsions. (sector 3014)
4. At the west side of the swamp, go northeast of the bridge. Here, go north to find a quartz flask. (sector 3092)
5. At the east beach, head south of the bridge to the rock. Head to the south side to find a very large bag of money. (thing 2200 via "secret trigger" thing 2201)
