MAP05: Dangerous Curves is the fifth map of Interception. It was designed by Michael Jan Krizik (valkiriforce) and uses the music track " ". The par time defined in MAPINFO is 1:30.

Secrets[edit]

  1. At the start, start to climb the steps and look back to find a new switch. Flip it to open the nearby door, then flip the next switch to find a shotgun. Open the damaged wall here, then open the next door you find. In the next room, a skull switch is in the southwest corner, and you can use the lift to return to the metal halls. To get this secret, first use the lift, and before it rises, press on the skull switch. Then, ride the lift up and quickly head into the teleporter on the west wall to reach the pool with the megaarmor. (sector 10)
  2. At the northernmost blue-floored room with the crates, climb up the crates to the west side, then jump to the ones to the center. Approach the vent on the east side for it to open and you will obtain a computer area map. (sector 204)
  3. From Secret #4, use the switch and head down, then go south to find a rocket launcher on a pillar. Head east to the wall for it to open, then east again until the compartments nearby open up. In the rocket launcher room, the northeast column will be open now. Enter it and press on the east side to reveal a passage to a backpack. Approaching the backpack reveals the way back to the metal halls. Approach this, but do not fall in yet. Return to the rocket launcher room and now you should be able to reach the rocket launcher.   4. In the metal halls at the east end of the map, step in the center of the bend with the light shining down, then quickly run south to the two doors. Here, a satyr switch will be slightly to the east, quickly press it and enter the nearby teleporter to reach a soul sphere. (sector 257)
  5. Once you grab the yellow key, two nearby alcoves open up. Enter the north one and press on the wall to open a secret room with health bonuses, a box of shotgun shells, a box of ammo, and a green armor. (sector 311)
