MAP05: Dark Forest is the fifth map of Community Chest 64. It was designed by Cody Richeson (Koko Ricky) and uses the music track "".

Other points of interest[edit]


  1. In the area accessed from the red teleporter, in the lava to the left of the bridge there's several armor bonuses leading to a partial invisibility sphere. (thing 768)
  2. Make your way to the circular room past the bridge surrounded by lava, and in the alcove to the back, press the switch and quickly make your way to a lowered lift in the western alcove to collect four sets of four shotgun shells and an energy cell pack. (sector 1195)
  3. In the area accessed from the yellow teleporter, follow the right wall and you will quickly see an opening between two trees leading to an invulnerability sphere, four shotgun shells, a box of bullets, a box of rockets and a backpack. (sector 1216)
  4. In the area accessed from the blue teleporter, press the exposed wall on the right side upon teleporting in to reveal a berserk pack. (thing 737)
  5. Make your way down the stairs from the room you teleported in, and reach the area in the south from the corridor containing the armor. From here, in the room with the body parts hanging on the ceiling, enter the left door and in this small room press the bright computer panel to open a small column with another computer on the floor. Step on this computer to cause a box of shells, box of bullets and energy cell pack to appear in the room with the hanging body parts. (sector 821)
  6. In the central building, enter from the red door and find a wall that has a different texture on the left side of the corridor. Press on it to lower it and past the fake wall you will find a megaarmor. (sector 118)
  7. Enter the central building from the blue door, and in the small corridor in front step on the blue light. This will lower a wall located on the opposite side of the building, right next to the switch requiring the yellow key, leading to a secret shed. Here, pressing two switches in the columns will unlock a rocket launcher, and picking it up will also spawn three cacodemons. (sector 35)
