MAP05: In the Thick of it is the fifth map of Rowdy Rudy II. It was designed by Doomkid and uses the music track "Hooligan Rhapsody," originally from Beavis and Butt-Head.

Secrets[edit]
- In the large room at the north end, take the lift up and go to the northwest door. Doing this lowers the three pillars near the lift. Get on one of the pillars and ride it up, then use it to jump to the pool with a green armor and soul sphere. (sector 20)
- Climb up the steps at the west side of the first room and go to the crate with the berserk pack. You can walk through the fence to get it. (sector 72)
