MAP05: Incised Past is the fifth map of Judgment. It was designed by Blake Collins (Rayziik) and uses the music track "Deathstalker" by Brayden Hart (AD_79). The par time is 7:15. In the Retrial edition this level received fairly small changes in both geometry and things population.

Walkthrough[edit]
Essentials[edit]
You spawn in the exact middle of the eastern structure, an enclosed building full of square rooms containing large centerpieces. There are arch-viles facing away from you on all four sides. In order to get out of this building, you need to activate switches on the east, north, and west sides, then run to the south to fire at a switch on the right side of the southern room to open the bars to get free.
There is a peppering of dark imps, revenants, and mancubi as you travel counter-clockwise around the building. There are a lot of ammo drops on the elevated sections here, and you can find the blue key on an elevated part in the northern part of this path. As you pick it up, demons and many other monsters will start to spawn all around you. You can avoid them by running all the way south, and opening the blue bars there to start heading east down the path.
From here, keep left on the elevated path until you come to the yellow bars, and an area with the yellow key in an area to your right. Hit the switch next to the bars to lower the yellow skull. As soon as you pick up the skull, monsters will start spawning behind and in front of you. You need to run east and activate the switch to open those bars, then run back to the yellow bars, open them, and run north to avoid these monsters.
The northeastern room has many caged revenants and chaingunners that can hit you from vantage points. To progress, you will need activate the switch on the northern side, which will lower the walkways on all three sides to reveal a huge number of monsters, including spiderdemons, dark imps, Hell knights, and zombieman variants. Once you have defeated these enemies, you need to press both the switches on the north, east, and south sides of the room. This will raise the walkways again to allow you to traverse the second level and teleport you back to the middle of the room, but it will also spawn an arch-vile in the room each time. After doing this three times, you will be able to use the elevator platform on the south side of the room to get to the second level.
Monsters will continually spawn in front and behind you as well as in the center of the room as you cross certain thresholds while walking clockwise along the raised walkway. The exit is at the end of these walkways, on the southeast side of the room. There is an arch-vile right behind it, but it is unable to resurrect or attack from a distance, and you will be able to run into the exit without worrying about it.
