MAP05: The Metal Age is the fifth map of Hardfest. It was designed by Thomas Baden (Scorpius) and uses the music track "Atomic Press" by Korp.

Secrets[edit]
- Open the first door, but before entering the room, head to the east part of the ledge with the box of shotgun shells and medikit. Quickly enter the room and run up the steps, then run west, face south before the corner, and shoot the switch. Head southwest and enter the teleporter. In the next area, you can hop the pillars to get a chainsaw and a green armor. (sector 70)
- Jump west of the blue key to the red door. Open the south wall to get an energy cell pack. (sector 175)
- Open the blue door and head east of the door, then open the north wall to get a box of shotgun shells, a box of rockets, and a medikit. (sector 184)
- At the southeast end, head west to the next interior portion and open the south wall to find a megaarmor and health bonuses. (sector 126)
- In the southwest maze, head to the southwest end and flip the switch there. Quickly head for the southeast end to get a soul sphere. (sector 204)
