MAP05: The Sub-Caverns is the fifth map of Ashes 2063. It was designed by Vostyok and uses the music track "Life Beneath It All" by John Weekley (PRIMEVAL), which is split into two parts: an ambient section that plays throughout most of the level, and a battle theme that is triggered toward the end. The par time defined in MAPINFO is 16:00.

Walkthrough

Secrets

1. After you enter the control room that is behind the silver key door, return to the entrance of the subway, taking the steps up and entering a side area to the east, which has food, leather armor, a pipebomb, a .45 revolver, and a first-aid kit. (sector 1511)
2. In Secret #1, go behind the tarp at the northeast end and use the switch to open the left alcove with food, an area map, and light bullets. (sector 1526)
3. Go through the trains at the east end of the map and head southeast. Shoot the vent and in the room that follows you can find a collectible, shotgun shells, a .45 revolver, and a first-aid kit. (sector 616)
4. At the easternmost side with the steps, jump to the northeast ledge and enter the room there to find a backpack. (sector 1605)
5. In the area with nukage, jump the platforms to the northeast to enter a secret area with a jackhammer, a box of shells, light bullets, a BRUTE stim, a first-aid kit, and if you use the switch, you can launch a rocket. (sector 1557)
6. At the west train station, jump on the vending machine to the east and enter the vent to find shotgun shells and a metal armor. (sector 1662)
7. Enter the area northeast of the restrooms and use the valve at the end. Return and enter the room to the north, using the switch at the east side to melt the vines to the west, which lead to junk, painkillers, and a box of heavy bullets. (sector 1604). The entrance to the secret level Temple of The Dollar can be found inside this secret area.
