MAP05: The Waste Tunnels is the fifth map of Remain 1. It was designed by Alexander S. (Eternal).

Secrets[edit]
- At the westernmost room, use the northwest corner to open the southwest corner which contains a backpack. (sector 76)
- Head into the hall south of Secret #1 and open the doors there to leave back to the walkways. There is a new area open to the east. Enter and use the right terminal there to lower it. Open the wall behind it and follow the corridor all the way to the east. Open the wall where the medikit is and head straight east to pick up a soul sphere. (sector 104)
- At the east end of the walkways, make your way to the north side and towards the center. Enter the small alcove there and turn to the south. Shoot the switch to open a wall nearby with lots of armor bonuses. (sector 199)
- In the room north of the main area, head to the west side and use the panel on the south wall, then run all the way to the east to the south wall there to pick up a berserk pack. (sector 152)
- In the room north of the one in the previous secret, get on the walkways to open up the northwest and northeast corners. You can use the lower walls of these corners to ride up, leading to a box of shotgun shells and an energy cell. Both corners count as one secret. (sector 167)
- In the northwest corner, use the southwest wall to find a switch, which opens the door back to the previous room. Go back there and head to the west side to find a plasma gun in an alcove. (sector 183)
