MAP05: Tread Carefully is the fifth map of Deadliest Dem(o(li)ti)on. It was designed by Scypek2 and uses a MIDI rendition of "Bullet with Butterfly Wings" by The Smashing Pumpkins as its music track.

Secrets[edit]
- In the south waterway, go to the middle step leading out and open the north wall to find a medikit and energy cells. (sector 35)
- At the east side, go to the red switch at the northeast end, flip it, then head back west. Go south into a waterway and shoot the cracked wall to fill the area with blood. Go through the bloodfall to get a soul sphere. (sector 55)
- In the middle of the map are three lifts that lower on approach. Between the middle and east lifts, open the north wall to get a chainsaw. (sector 110)
- Take one of the lifts up from the previous secret and go north. Head east into the lava room and use the switch. Quickly fall into the hole, look east, and shoot the eye switch to open the southeast corner. This has boxes of ammo and a soul sphere. (sector 167)
- Open the blue door at the north end and fall to the west. You will find medikits and the plasma guns. (sector 296)
- After opening the bars to the east waterway, take the next lift and lower the one after it, which lowers the wall behind it. At the top are two switches. Press the left one first, then the right, then lower to the bottom and run north to get to a megaarmor. (sector 324)
- At the east side, go to the yellow switch at the southeast end, flip it, then enter the middle to get a BFG9000, a medikit, and an energy cell pack. (sector 333)
