MAP05 is the fifth map of Vae Victus. It was designed by Derek Braun (Dittohead) and uses a MIDI rendition of "Port of Adia" by Darren Mitchell, from Turok 2: Seeds of Evil, as its music track.

Essentials[edit]

Other points of interest[edit]

Secrets[edit]

  1. In the main valley, go to the evil eye in the middle to teleport to a green armor, boxes of rockets, and a soul sphere. (sector 258)
  2. At the entrance to the chapel, open a wall with lion faces to the north to find a medikit, an energy cell pack, and a box of rockets. (sector 1121)

Bugs[edit]

Though the text file included in the Vae Victus release states it is for limit-removing source ports, it is specifically designed for ZDoom, which by default gives the player the ability to aim vertically independent of autoaim. If the source port does not provide this feature, attaining 100% kills is impossible, as many distant and high monsters are placed in the large cave area that cannot otherwise be aimed at.
