MAP06: Construction Yard is the sixth map of Scientist 2. It was designed by Roland van der Velden and uses a MIDI rendition of the Dream Theater song "Overture 1928" as its music track.

  1. In the northwestern corner of the map, press the northern wall near the green torch to find a blur artifact. (sector 107)
  2. Inside the ship at the southeastern corner of the map, get to the big room with a cacodemon corpse and press the southwestern wall to find a berserk pack. (sector 104)

The red key can be obtained without the blue key by performing a grab through the corner of the grate (linedef 671).

Though the yellow key normally requires being raised into reach by a trigger that the player touches when picking up the blue key, it is not needed; when the red key bars are opened to the yellow key room, the thing snapping glitch takes effect on the yellow key and shotgunner standing on a sunken floor. If both the key and shotgunner are present, only the shotgunner snaps up due to him causing the thing flicker glitch on the yellow key. Kill him, and make the red bars move again to snap the yellow key up. This can then be used to reach the exit, avoiding the need for approaching the blue key.
