Essentials[edit]

Take the shotgun behind you then walk forward into the corridor—the wall ahead will open to reveal some zombiemen and the floor will lower like a lift, revealing demons to your left and right. Once the floor rises, go to the south-east end of the corridor and go down the steps here to face some zombiemen and imps, then go down another set of steps at the west end of the room to enter the room with the red keycard. Kill any waiting imps and zombies then climb up the blue stairs to collect the key.

Go back to the corridor and head round to the north side to find a super shotgun behind a couple of barrels. Use the silver lift opposite the shotgun to go up to a door and open it to face a couple of zombiemen, then step on the small lift to the east to go down to a bridge. Cross the bridge and look north to see a button, which will raise a step in the corridor to your left, then go south and east to enter the room with the blue keycard. When you enter the chamber containing the key three closets containing imps and shotgun guys (and chaingunners on Ultra-Violence (UV) and Nightmare (NM) skill levels) will open around you; blow up the barrels in front of the closets to help you clear out those enemies.

Go back to the corridor and climb up the step you raised earlier to enter a room with a blue bar, open it then go west and north up two sets of steps to find a chaingunner protecting a switch, which will raise a bridge from the nukage outside. Go west past a yellow bar to another switch and flip it to raise a lift (you will use it to return to the yellow bar later), then ride the lift down and go up the steps in front of you to get outside. Lower the barrier in front of the bridge you just raised and cross it to enter a room with a Hell knight, open the gargoyle switch at the south end of the room (requiring the red key) to reveal a button and press it to lower the red bars just behind you, then climb up to the switch at the top of the stairs and flip it to lower a lift on the east side of the room.

Ride the lift up and go south to a switch, which will lower the wall to your left to reveal a zombie, then flip another switch behind it to open another alcove behind you with a demon. Flip the third switch behind the demon to open it and reveal an imp (or revenant on UV and NM), then flip the final switch to lower the floor and drop into an ambush by one to three demons. Enter the teleporter to go to an alcove with a gargoyle switch, then press it to lower the pillar directly ahead holding the yellow keycard. Take the key back to the yellow bar you passed earlier and open it, then follow the gray path round to a switch and flip it to open a wall below you; also note the window that opens to reveal imps and chaingunners. Go through the open wall and climb the stairs to another teleporter, which will send you to another gargoyle switch, then press it to open the building directly ahead. Step across the poles to reach the building entrance and kill a chaingunner, then use the lift next to it to go down to the exit teleporter.

Secrets[edit]

  1. At the first lift, ride back up and head to the northeast hall. Lower the metal wall to the south to get a computer area map. (sector 56)
  2. Open the yellow bar in the brown brick hallway and head to the west ledge. Here, open the north wall, flip the switch, then head outside and get the soul sphere. (sector 135)
