MAP06: John's Lament is the sixth map of Cyberdreams. It was designed by Albert Valls (Vrooomer).

Walkthrough[edit]

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Essentials[edit]

When you move from the start, a crusher will activate in the main room, with safe spots to the left and right sides. Move around to the north side, avoiding the rockets from the two cyberdemons, then use the switch on the wall. Go back to the south side and use the switch there, which raises steps to the west. The switch here activates invisible crushers in the cyberdemon pens, getting rid of them. There is a button in the middle you should shoot, which opens up another switch near the previous one you used. That switch will raise steps to the east. Here, flip the switch, then the one that appears behind you, and the way further west will open. Another cyberdemon will be here, but he will be crushed too. Using the last switch here will actually destroy Romero's Head offscreen.
