MAP06: Lamentations for IO is the sixth map of Attack on IO. It was designed by Brian Irving (Bri) and uses the music track "Retribution Dawns" by Aubrey Hodges from Playstation Doom. The par time defined in MAPINFO is 6:40.

Secrets[edit]
- In the central lava area, go up the center lift and go to the switch, which causes the teleporter to the right to lower. Jump to it to get an invulnerability. (sector 1038)
- At the southwest end, head to the right column and use the button on the east side. Run to the southwest end and enter to get a box of rockets and a BFG9000. (sector 1103)
- At the southwest end, take the south lift up and run down the walkway all the way to a switch, then drop off to the west and towards the middle computer which has lowered. Ride it up to a soul sphere. (sector 1166)
- At the northeast end, head to the lava and head west until you get to a candle. Open the wall there to find a teleporter to a plasma gun and stimpacks. (sector 1672)
