MAP06: Wicked City is the sixth map of Doom 2's Consumed Earth. It was designed by nxGangrel and uses the music track "Waiting for Romero to Play" by Robert Prince.

Walkthrough[edit]
Essentials[edit]
Kill the mancubi ahead (there is a super shotgun to your left on Hurt Me Plenty (HMP) skill level or higher that will help) then go east into a wooden passage with some shotgun guys/chaingunners and demons. Follow the passage to a room with a barred doorway, kill any waiting enemies then go south and east into a corridor with a metal lift in the south-east corner. Ride the lift up and follow the passage to a dark room with spectres, then continue east and north to a box of bullets and flip the switch behind you to open the barred doorway you passed earlier. Go through this doorway and collect the weapons behind it, then go north to a skull switch (guarded by an arch-vile on HMP or higher) and press it to lower the neighboring lift. Ride the lift up and kill any imps and demons waiting in the next hallway, then go through to a room with metal columns and follow the path north and east to get to the button on the other side of the columns. Press the button to lower the column holding the yellow skull key, and open an alcove in the connecting hallway which contains a plasma gun and a portal that will put you near the metal lift you used earlier.
Kill the approaching arch-vile then open the yellow bars next to it to enter the ruined city. Go to the south-east corner of this area to find a green lift at the bottom of some steps, ride it up and push past some demons, zombies and an arch-vile to find the blue keycard on a ledge; taking it lowers one of the buildings below to reveal four barons of Hell, or a cyberdemon on HMP or higher. Go back down to ground level and open the blue bars in the south-west corner of the city, kill some waiting shotgun guys (or demons and a revenant on HMP or higher) then go through the destroyed wall in the south-west corner and drop down into a dark tunnel with a spectre. Drop down another level and go west past another spectre to enter a small room with a Hell knight and/or chaingunners, then go up two sets of steps to find a revenant guarding a portal. Enter the portal and flip the skull lever in front of you, then enter the teleporter that opens behind you to go to the building in the north-east corner of the city.
Enter the large tunnel on the west side of the city to enter an area with a destroyed road, then drop to the ground below and look at the western wooden building to see a metal lift. Ride the lift up and walk north to see an angled wall, press the skull switch behind it (guarded by a knight on HMP or higher) to open the room to the south, then press a second skull switch inside that room to open one of the buildings in the city. Leave the wooden building and go south-east to a gray tower, use the lift on its south side to get back up to the tunnel, then return to the city and go inside the brick building on the west side to find a sky teleporter. Enter this teleporter to find the red keycard, then flip the skull lever next to it to open a wall leading back to the teleporter you used earlier. Return to the room behind the blue bars you opened earlier, open the red bars on the west side then step round the bloodfall in front of you to find the level exit.

Secrets[edit]
- Enter the first building and enter the small library. Lower a bookshelf at the east side and follow this passage to get a stimpack and energy cells. You can use the switch to get a plasma gun and head north to get a berserk pack. (sector 108)
- Enter the next building at the northernmost end, then use the demon face at the east wall to find a teleporter. This takes you to the next room accessible from the nearby lift. (sector 266)
- Take the path leading to the switch leading to the switch that lowers the yellow key. When you see the wall of fire, go through it to get a supercharge. (sector 261)
- In the main city, head to the south-west end near the "NIN" symbol. Use the brown block near the blinds to lower it, then ride up and climb to the gray rooftop to get a stimpack and a computer area map. (sector 300)
- At secret #4, go through the cage to the north to get health and armor bonuses. (sector 193)
- At the west side, head to the north-east teleporter to teleport to a supercharge and a box of shotgun shells. (sector 424)
- At the west side, head to the north-west teleporter to teleport to a megaarmor and health bonuses. (sector 530)
- At secret #7, jump down to the east to get a berserk pack. (sector 529)
- After getting the blue key, head to the building that has secrets #7 and #8 to find a teleporter on its west side. Take it to get a box of shotgun shells, a stimpack, rockets, and a rocket launcher. (sector 374)
- From secret #9, jump to the ledge to the west to get a supercharge (medikit on Hey Not Too Rough or lower). (sector 2)
- Head north from secret #10 and take the teleporter. Go through the break in the cage to get a BFG9000. (sector 403)
