MAP06 is the sixth map of ESW2. It was designed by David Jander.

Secrets[edit]

  1. The maze area west of the start has a switch in its eastern part, which opens up a door further north. Go through the door - stairs will raise, allowing access to a clip and an energy cell. (sector 10)
  2. Towards the south of the maze is a switch which lowers a wall to the north-east, allowing access to a small crossroads. The south arm of this crossroads has a secret door in its west wall (marked with a different texture) leading to three rockets, a stimpack, a box of bullets, 4 shotgun shells, and a switch. (sector 44)
  3. From the blue key, go through two doors then turn right, left, and left again. The wall to your left is a secret door leading to 25 armor bonuses, a soul sphere, six imps (five on easy skill), a shotgun guy, and two lost souls (hard skill only). (sector 96)
  4. In the south-west of the maze is a door leading to a room with a ledge running round three sides. The switch in #2 lowers the platform in the centre of the room, allowing access to a switch. (sector 51)
  5. The switch in #4 raises a platform allowing access to the ledge. (sector 56)
  6. The southern wall of the ledge (see #5) has a secret door in its south wall leading to a passage. Just before the step in this passage is a secret door to the east leading to a rocket, a box of shotgun shells, a backpack, a chaingun, a chainsaw, a medikit, and a cacodemon (last two are hard skill only). (sector 76)
  7. Continuing along the passage leads to 13 armor bonuses and 3 health bonuses. (sector 63)
  8. At the end of the passage is an area overlooking the start area with a clip and a rocket. (sector 68)
  9. The slightly raised area with the switch pressed to access #2 can be briefly (but repeatedly) lowered by walking along a trigger line further along the path (towards the blue key area). It reveals access to an area with several monsters and items. From here, it is possible to lower several lifts with switches to reach a megasphere. (sector 108)
  10. After going through the blue door you will reach an corridor with alcoves on each side. The middle one on the east side has a secret door on its back wall leading to 11 armor bonuses, an armor and a partial invisibility. (sector 27)
