MAP07: Alone in the Darkness is the seventh map of Infested. It was designed by Chris Polan (ginc) and uses the music track "Cold Reality" from Descent II. The par time defined in ZMAPINFO is 20:00.

Secrets[edit]
- After opening the second gate in the mines, head north and enter the second alcove on the left. You will find a soul sphere. (sector 2526)
- When you choose to take the left path, follow the cart until there is a fork going northwest or southwest. While the cart goes southwest, head northwest and north to find a megaarmor. (sector 2690)
- In the northwest tracks where the water is, get to the middle of the tracks and head northwest into a small cave. Head inside to find a BFG core and a BFG9000. (sector 3244)
- In the north cave, follow the tracks south and climb up to the top. From here, jump north to a rock above the lava that has a BFG core and a soul sphere. (sector 1004)
- When you are going to the east side, the track will head down to an area with yellow liquid. Enter the liquid and head into the west cave, which has a BFG core and a megaarmor. (sector 4241)
- After getting rid of the lime gore nest, head back to the spiral staircase and take it further down. Head northeast to get a BFG core, boxes of rockets, an energy cell pack, a BFG9000, and a megasphere. (sector 4795)
- In the cave northwest of where the lime gore nest was, when the track goes east, head northwest and take the steps up. Head to the small temple to pick up a BFG9000. (sector 5485)
