MAP07: Even Simpler is the seventh map of Doom 64 for Doom II. It was designed by DeXiaZ and Brett Harrell (Mechadon), and uses the music track "On The Edge" by José Navarrete (CoTeCiO).

Walkthrough[edit]

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Essentials[edit]

Press the button in front of you to raise the floor and go up to the central courtyard, then kill the mancubi in the corners to open the outer doors revealing a square hallway with cacodemons and Hell knights. The northern corners of the courtyard have switches that you can reach by stepping through the windows at the north end of the hallway; flipping each switch will open an eye switch in the opposite corner that you can shoot to open the outermost hall. Kill the barons of Hell and pain elementals that teleport in, then go to the outermost hall and kill all the arachnotrons there, which will raise steps up to the exit switches at the edges of the map.

Other points of interest[edit]

Entering the outermost hall will lower the invulnerability powerup in the middle of the map.

Taking the boxes of rockets in the outermost hall will open alcoves containing chaingunners.
