MAP07: Foughtress is the seventh map of Earthless: Prelude. It was designed by James Paddock (Jimmy) and uses the music track "Between Levels" by Robert Prince. The par time defined in MAPINFO is 2:00.

Other points of interest[edit]


  1. Clear through the map a bit and when the three way doors open, take the right door and then immediately take another right and open the wall with a candle behind it. Tag the secret by using the lift and getting the megaarmor. (sector 2)
  2. This time take the left door and go down the hall and kill all the enemies. After that press on the wall that is on the inner bend to lower a switch. Press it and you can now get on top the chaingunner ledge. (sector 54)
  3. Still on the chaingunner ledge from secret #2, press on the differently textured wall on the east end to go down a health bonus trail to a soulsphere. (sector 3)


If you trip the switch to raise the north-west lift (sector 45, tag 666), but then step off the back of the lift before it finishes raising, you will get stuck on the lower level of the map. The only linedefs that lower the lift again are on the ledges above. If you haven't tripped the needed switches on the north-east ledges, you will not be able to finish the map.
