Other points of interest[edit]

Secrets[edit]

  1. After taking the stairs down to the underground area, take the northern door first. Go up to the pentagram and look to your left (west). Shoot the switch which will lower a column containing a green armor. (sector 520)
  2. At the northeastern part of the underground area, you will see a super shotgun, health bonuses, and a backpack behind bars. (sector 641) To reach them, press the wall nearby to the north to find a switch, which will remove the bars.
  3. Leave the red key room through the southern door when it opens and follow the hallway. Midway through the hall, shoot the skull switch behind the torch that is emanating light, then head into the western alcove where a wall is lowering. Inside is a medikit, ammo, and a rocket launcher. (sector 784)
  4. Open the southeastern door in the main circle and press the southwestern wall with a candle in front of it to find a soul sphere. (sector 1856)
  5. Now open the southwestern door in the main circle and follow the path until you reach a switch that lowers a big lift. A bit before that, find the wall with the candle in front of it and press it to find two rockets and a box of rockets. (sector 969)
  6. At the southwestern halls in the library, you may have spotted a plasma gun between the cracks in the bookshelves. (sector 1380) Head northwest from that area into a hall where a candle is on a bookshelf. You need to press this bookshelf, then quickly head south to the corner and shoot the northwestern target switch, which will open the door to the south, allowing you to reach the plasma gun and energy cells.
  7. At the top of the main staircases in the library, follow the balcony east of them as it curves north. Enter the first room to the south, where a revenant is in front of a bookshelf with a candle nearby. Pressing this bookshelf will lower the wall near the candle. Inside is a box of rockets, a box of shotgun shells, and a green armor. (sector 1500)
  8. In the southeastern area of the library with numerous bookshelves, head to the southeastern part of the area to spot a candle. Press the wall where this candle is to find a dark passage containing rockets, a backpack, and an energy cell pack. (sector 1480)
  9. From Secret #8, head west until you see three sets of bookshelves on the western wall. Press the northernmost shelf (there's no indication that it can be interacted with), which will lower a section of a shelf further to the south containing a green armor. (sector 1822)
  10. At the southern part of the balcony overlooking the room with numerous shelves, there are two alcoves. Press the southern wall in either alcove to reach a secret area (sector 1876). Grabbing the soul sphere here changes the scenery and causes monsters to teleport in.
  11. In the gigantic library hall to the east that requires the blue key to exit, take the first set of steps at the northwestern part of the area, then use the lift next to the banner. Head south to the edge, then west to the edge, then look north. There's a tiny red button on the green wall. Shoot it to raise some steps to the west to a door, where you can find a backpack, two boxes of rockets, two boxes of bullets, a box of shotgun shells, four energy cell packs, and a BFG9000. (sector 1682)
  12. Back at the northwestern stairs of the great hall, continue heading up until the walls in front and behind you open, revealing a revenant and a cacodemon. Go into the compartment where the revenant was and press the satyr switch, then where the cacodemon was to find an open passage. (sector 1659)
  13. Go to the end of the passage in Secret #12 and press the skull switch. Follow the bookshelf to the next opening to the north where you will find a chaingunner and a megasphere. (sector 1629)
  14. At the northern part of the library, press the switch to the southwest and head back to the northern part of the area. A compartment with cacodemons has opened here. Enter it and press the wall with the candle in front of it to find a megaarmor. (sector 1285)
  15. When you reach the towers, ride the lifts up and head to the main hall with the crushers. Head for the southeastern part of the hall to find energy cell packs and a soul sphere. (sector 2096)
