MAP07: Square Off is the seventh map of Into Sandy's Cities. It was designed by GermanPeter.

Walkthrough[edit]

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Essentials[edit]

This map is reminiscent of MAP07: Dead Simple. Shoot the eye in front of you with a hitscan weapon to raise the platform you are on and start the level. Kill all the arachnotrons, then kill all of the mancubi that rise up around the map when the arachnotrons are dead. Step into the center to exit the level.

Other points of interest[edit]

There are radiation shielding suits, energy cells, stacked health and armor bonuses, and rockets scattered around the map.

Secrets[edit]

  1. There are four rooms at the cardinal directions of the map. Each of them has an eye door that must be shot with a hitscan weapon to open. The one to the south has a super shotgun and two sets of four shotgun shells, the one to the west has a plasma gun and two energy cells, the one to the north has a rocket launcher and two boxes of rockets, and the one to the east has a megaarmor and two medikits.   5. After killing all of the arachnotrons, you will raise steps to the four corner platforms, which contain eight secrets as well as a partial invisibility (north-west), a berserk pack (north-east), a backpack (south-east), and a megasphere (south-west). (sector 29)
