MAP07: Woods is the seventh map of Hellbound. It was designed by Zoltán Sófalvi (Z86) and uses the music track "Waiting for Romero to Play," originally composed by Robert Prince for Doom II.

Other points of interest[edit]


  1. When you reach the woods area, turn to the path leading southeast and follow it until you reach the second cave entrance with vines. Go through this entrance, then head northeast. Next to the yellow door, press on the ashen rock wall to find a megaarmor, an energy cell, and shotgun shells. (sector 148)
  2. When you reach the woods area, turn and go southwest along the lower path. The brown tree on the left side of this path is accessible, and inside the hollow trunk is a switch which will reveal a plasma gun in the tree behind it. (sector 158)
  3. From the same cave entrance mentioned in Secret #1, press on the ashen rock wall just southeast of the entrance. You can also take the south path in the woods, take the second cave entrance there, and heading northeast to another ashen rock wall, or go into the lava on the right side and traversing it northeast to reach this secret. Inside is a box of shotgun shells, a medikit, and two rockets. (sector 164)
  4. Go behind the house in the southern part of the map to find a medikit, shells, and an energy cell pack. (sector 657)
