MAP08: Asteroid Dance is the eighth map of CPD 2. It was designed by Cheesewheel and uses the music track "Main Code" by Korp, from the Double Impact MIDI Pack.

Walkthrough

Map of Asteroid Dance

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Secrets

1. Go west from the start, then southeast. The southwest doors will open. Enter and flip the switch here to lower the soul sphere to the east. (sector 1046)
2. Across the nukage river, enter the northwest end and up the steps there. Look at the southwest light and flip the switch there to lower a backpack. (sector 677)
3. Head north from the rocket launcher and then look northeast across the fence. Shoot the switch, then, at the cryotubes to the east, head to the southwest door and open it. Climb up to get a soul sphere. (sector 549)
4. In the south room, go to the west door and use the south lift to head up. Open the east wall and follow this ledge southeast and south to a megaarmor. (sector 1905)
