MAP08: Booking Passage is the eighth map of Venturous. It was designed by PixelFox and uses the music track "Prepare to Die Part 2" by OB-LIX.

Walkthrough

Map of Booking Passage

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Secrets

1. At the west side of town, jump on the crates to the east, then south onto an awning. Angle a jump southwest onto a small wall, then go east and take the ladder up to a box of shotgun shells and a medikit. (sector 145)
2. Head east from the west side of town, then up the steps and east to another set of steps. Here, jump onto the truck, then jump up to the south. Head west through the tunnel, climb some nearby steps, then get on the wooden beams above the steps. Run and jump west to another building that has the Egyptian soul idol. (sector 204)
3. Return to the aforementioned truck, jump on it, then jump south. Run and jump northeast to get a faster fire rate powerup. (sector 896)
4. Go back to the truck, head west, then north inside a building. Climb up and jump to the north building. Jump to the rooftop to the west to find a medikit and a jacket. (sector 643)
5. Return to the previous rooftop and jump northeast, then south to get a fedora. (sector 878)
6. Go to the lighthouse at the northeast end and climb the ladders in the back to head in. You will find full health (not on the lowest skill level). (sector 852)
7. Go inside the building south of the lighthouse and jump over the south crate to find an enchanted jacket. (sector 763)
