MAP08: Catnip is the eighth map of Doomworld Maximum Project 2022. It was designed by DoctorNuriel and uses the music track MIDI rendition of "Burn the Remembrance" by Katatonia.

Walkthrough

Map of Catnip

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Secrets

1. After crossing the middle bridge, go to the west side, turn east, and press use at the candles to lower. Behind you, you can find a berserk pack and a chainsaw. (sector 12)
2. At the south end, jump north towards the middle bridge and the pillar ahead of you will lower, revealing a soul sphere. (sector 18)
3. At the south end, use the green pillar from the south side and head east to the lowering wall. Take this passage to get health bonuses, stimpacks, a rocket launcher, and a box of ammo. (sector 33)
