MAP08: Damage Control is the eighth map of Ashes 2063. It was designed by Vostyok and uses the music track "On the Prey" by John Weekley (PRIMEVAL). The par time defined in MAPINFO is 8:20.

Secrets[edit]

  1. In the red access card room, go to the northeast end and use the switch to the south to open the north wall. Drop down to get a fuel canister and light bullets. (sector 503)
  2. After you get the blue access card, return to the entrance of the building and head northeast to the blue switch. Open it to find a room with painkillers, boxes of heavy bullets, a REGEN stim, and a first-aid kit. (sector 623)

An unfortunate typo in the MAPINFO lump of the initial 2018 release left this level erroneously titled as "Damage Controll", leading some players to joke that the player character being led to this location (and subsequent violent events) were some form of elaborate prank at their expense.
