MAP08: Defence is the eighth map in the DMP2018cl2 mapset of Doomworld Mega Project 2018. It was designed by ChaingunnerX. The author's demo on skill 3 runs for 5:18.80 (11158 tics).

Walkthrough

Map of Defence

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Secrets

1. Open the east wall at the start to get health bonuses. (sector 74)
2. Climb the green and brown steps at the north end, then enter the room and run east through the wall, across two gaps. Open the green wall for a blur artifact. (sector 98)
3. Get the blue key (in the second room, open the wall with the lightning symbol near the west door), then get on the northeast or southeast ledges of the map. Jump to the middle, cross to the west, then straferun to the ledge at the northwest/southwest side. Open the blue door and fall in to get a chainsaw and a soul sphere. (sector 172)
