Walkthrough[edit]
Essentials[edit]
Press the button to lower the floor, take the chaingun and use it to kill the monsters in front of you, then flip the switch by the east wall to raise a bridge. Cross the bridge and go up the steps, kill any chaingunners waiting at the top then press the button on the blue column to lower the north wall, revealing one or two cacodemons; one or two more will be released behind you when you step past that wall. Open the north-east door (which will release a pain elemental behind you on Hurt Me Plenty (HMP) skill level or higher) and follow the path north until you go up two lifts, then kill any imps waiting at the top before going west through another door to enter a blue room. Press the skull switch on the west wall and kill one to three Hell knights that teleport behind you, then leave the room and follow the trail of health bonuses until you drop down to a platform with a supercharge.
Flip the switch on the platform to raise another bridge, kill any approaching cacodemons then cross the bridge to reach a ledge with three doors. Go through the middle door, which will open on approach, to get a megaarmor, then drop into the nukage ahead and go to the north-west corner to press a button that will raise a bridge (you can lower the bridge like a lift to get on top of it). Cross the bridge and collect the super shotgun on the other side, kill any cacodemons waiting in the next pit then enter it and press the buttons at the north and south ends to raise two more bridges. Follow the bridges to a mancubus and press the button behind it, then go back to the three-door area to find that the west door has opened to reveal a tech room. Go inside and press the button on the column at the bottom of the stairs, then climb the stairs to the top, noting any chaingunners that are released on either side, and head north to another button; pressing it drops the pillar to reveal an arch-vile, but also raises a bridge in the room behind you.
Cross the bridge you just raised to a skull switch and press it, then return to the three-door area where the eastern door has now opened. Climb the red stairs to a round room with a baron of Hell, which will teleport around the room to confuse you, then open the blue wall at the north-east end to find a teleporter to the east side of the map. Kill all the monsters in front of you then climb the steps to a room with three nukage tunnels - there are three skull switches in this area that need to be pressed to open the doors to the final teleporter. Follow the middle and eastern tunnels to find the first two switches, then run off the nukagefall in the north-west corner to land on a platform with the third switch; note the mancubus that teleports nearby as you land on that platform. With all three switches pressed, follow the western tunnel to the doors you just opened and enter the teleporter behind them to go to the central platform, then open the door in front of you to find a demon (or two revenants on HMP or higher) guarding the exit switch. Watch out for one or two pain elementals that teleport behind you when you open the door.
