MAP08: Oasis of Death is the eighth map of Squadron 417. It was designed by Keith Hickman and uses a MIDI rendition of "Thunder Kiss '65" by White Zombie as its music track.

Secrets[edit]

  1. Head up the steps to the right at the start. Go a bit north and press on the inner wall to the southwest to find a super shotgun, a box of shotgun shells, and a medikit. (sector 54)
  2. In the red key building, head to the northeast torch and open the wall to the left of it to find rockets and an energy cell pack. (sector 333)
  3. Take the east of the four portals and when you teleport, head east and open the wall there for a plasma gun, rockets, and energy cells. (sector 359)
  4. Head into the water north of the four portals and enter the second cave on the left. Head to the left wall just before the armor bonuses and open it to find a computer area map. (sector 385)
